It's not only the technical handling that impresses me, but the fact that the reference used for Bear Bull - Blackfoot by *wendelin is a monochromatic photograph. The full view just seriously blows me away with all the details and amazingly naturalistic color tones. ( Suggested by *Kyena and Featured by $fourteenthstar )

lovely effect the color has in this medium... Check out my version at www.portraitsofthepast.com I drew mine with a #2 pencil and by eye.
Completely different but both equally as good.
