Gollum is my favourite character in LOTR. He's animated so awsome in the movies and portrayed so nicely by Tolkien. With his fractured personality and weakness, to me he appears more human than any other LOTR character. I put a little tear in his eye and I leave it up to you, if you consider him to be frightened, greedy, sad or happy.
